Family Cycle Touring
The Senda del Oso is an old mining railway line converted into a greenway. Shaped like a “Y”, a large part of its route runs through the Teverga and Quirós valleys, at the foot of the Las Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park.
The Tour
It is a paved, flat and protected track, perfect for bicycles and hikers of all ages. It goes through numerous illuminated tunnels (old train passes) and crosses impressive gorges such as Peñas Juntas.
Bears Paca and Molina
One of the biggest attractions is the Osero fence, located on the route, where the bears Paca and Molina live, rescued and cared for by the Bear Foundation of Asturias. It is a unique opportunity to see them up close and learn about their conservation.
