Ascension to Cornón
Crowning the roof of Somiedo. A classic high mountain ascent to 2,194 meters of Pico Cornón, crossing subalpine landscapes and bear and chamois habitat.
Castro Route
An ideal trail for initiation in Somiedo. It connects the La Malva Recreational Area with the town of Castro, offering a relaxing walk among holm oak forests, industrial history and views of the peaks.
Braña de Mumián Route
It crosses beautiful mountain landscapes and forests from the cattle braña of El Llamardal to Mumián, offering great opportunities for sighting local fauna.
Braña de Sousas Route
Discover the mystery of the Somedan 'corros'. This short route takes you to a unique braña located in a perfect glacial cirque, where the stone cabins speak to us of a remote past.
Route from La Peral to Villar de Vildas
Panoramic crossing that connects two of the most emblematic towns in Somiedo. It starts from La Peral, ascends gently between meadows to the Las Malladas fountain with views of the Pigüeña valley and descends to Villar de Vildas.
Brañas de Saliencia Route
Ethnographic tour par excellence. It begins in the town of Arbeyales and goes up the river to Saliencia, passing through beautiful brañas and waterfalls that show the traditional architecture of the Teitos in all its splendor.
Saliencia Lakes Route
The most iconic landscape of Somiedo. A circular route from Alto de la Farrapona that visits four glacial lakes: La Cueva, Almagrera, Cerveriz and Calabazosa, in a breathtaking high mountain environment.
Camín Real de la Mesa (Somiedo Section)
Walk through history on this ancient Roman road (GR-101). An aerial tour of the peaks that divide Somiedo and Teverga, visiting emblematic brañas such as La Corra and La Mesa.
Route from El Puerto to Valle del Lago
Connection route between the upper area of the port and the largest glacial valley of Somiedo. From Santa María del Puerto, it crosses pastures and brañas such as Sousas to descend to the Lake Valley.
Route of the Real Camín de la Mesa - La Bustariega
The route follows the layout of the road that was first a Roman road and later the main access road to Castile. The path runs along the western slope of the Sierra de la Verde, offering a splendid panoramic view of the Council of Somiedo, the Cornón range and the Sierra del Páramu.
Pigüeña Valley Route
A trip back in time to the culture of the 'vaqueiros de alzada'. This simple route goes up the valley of the Pigüeña River to La Pornacal, the largest and most spectacular group of teito cabins in all of Somiedo.
Lake Valley Route
The Somiedo classic. A simple route that takes you to the heart of the park to discover its largest lake, of glacial origin. It offers two variants (Sun and Shadow) to enjoy different perspectives.
Pola de Somiedo Accessible Path
A flat, concreted walk ideal for all audiences. It connects Pola de Somiedo with the recreational area, running parallel to the Somiedo River. Designed for people with reduced mobility, baby strollers and families.
